Overview

Our vitrified clay pipes are manufactured by two subsidiaries:

Johore Pipe Company (JPC)
Established in 1935
JPC-Intan Sdn Bhd (JPC-Intan)
Established in 1983

Vitrified clay pipes were the first of many ceramic products produced by Claytan Group. In addition, we were also the first flexible-jointed vitrified clay pipes manufacturer in Malaysia. Our vitrified clay pipes were the first to be approved for use by the Kuala Lumpur Sewerage Department in 1951.

By investing continuously in research & development and state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities, JPC and JCP-Intan established Claytan Group as one of the largest vitrified clay pipes manufacturers in Malaysia. Together they produce an impressive range of vitrified clay pipes with a maximum length of 2 meters and maximum diameter of 700 millimetres.

Controlling the blending of clay and adopting innovative manufacturing techniques ensures that our vitrified clay pipes are of the highest quality in terms of strength, weight to length ratio, dimensional accuracy and durability.
